Four chapters of Kozelets history
Nativity of the Virgin Cathedral
The baroque cathedral and its bell tower were built with support from the Rozumovsky family. They remain among the best-known architectural landmarks in Kozelets.
The Cossack regimental office
A surviving building is associated with the administration of the Kyiv Cossack Regiment. It recalls Kozelets’ role in regional government during the Cossack era.
The Pokorshchyna estate
This estate belonged to the Darahan family, relatives of the Rozumovskys. Its surviving structures are among the notable early manor buildings of Left-Bank Ukraine.
St Nicholas Church
The Church of St Nicholas is a separate 18th-century architectural monument. Together with the cathedral and other buildings, it shapes the historic centre of Kozelets.
