Local history and heritage
Pustelnyky: from Kornyn district to the Popilnia community
A separate village council
An administrative list from 1946 records a Pustelnyky village council within Kornyn district. This explains why older documents sometimes place the village outside the former Popilnia district.
A district disappeared
Kornyn district was dissolved in December 1957 and its territory was incorporated into Popilnia district. Administrative records for Pustelnyky changed accordingly.
Together with Khodorkiv
Pustelnyky entered the Popilnia community through the Khodorkiv village council, along with Vidrodzhennia.
A trace in parish records
Pustelnyky appears in archival references to the historic Roman Catholic parish of Khodorkiv, whose 19th-century registers have been catalogued.
